The dark green leaves turn orange-red in the fall, the pungent whit flower clusters turn into orange/red berries in the fall and early winter that the Grosbeaks and Waxwings love to eat. The primary difference that makes the Russian Mountain Ash unique is the narrow almost columnar growth habit of 10 feet (3m) or less. u The Russian Mountain Ash does best in` a sunny location with moist well drained soil. |
