Giftshop Cashier

Wages $15.00 -$17.50 per hour based on experience

This is a temporary full time position for the months of May to September. Duties involve: Filling out sale receipts, handling cash, debit and credit card transactions, inventory control, restocking of shelves, maintaining sanitary conditions in the giftshops and surrounding grounds.

The applicant will be in good physical condition, and a freindly outgoing nature.

Work in the greenhouse and surrounding tree nursery may be required.

Room and board are available to non-smoking college or University students.

Greenhouse Staff

wages $15.00 = $17.50 per hour based on experience

This is a temporary full time position for the months of May to September. Duties include monitoring and maintaining plant health in a green house and field environment, including planting, fertilizing, staking, watering and harvesting.

The applicant should be in good physical condition and have an extensive knowledge of annual bedding plants, perennials, trees and shrubs.

A friendly easy going character is also required as plant sales is an important part of this position.

Work in the giftshop or surrounding nursery may be necessary.

Nursery Staff

Wages $15.00 =$17.50 per hour based on experience

This is a temporary full time position from May to September. Duties include care and maintenance of trees and shrubs grown in the nursery including planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, potting, herbicide application and retail sales.

Additional duties may include work in the greenhouse, giftshop, work with cattle, fencing, haying or logging and sawing.

The applicant should be in good physical condition and have an extensive knowledge of shrubs,and trees and a good knowlege of bedding plants and perenials.
